November 24th: Staple, The Next Convention:

On Saturday, March 3rd 2007 at the Red Ballroom in Austin, Texas, my cousin David and I will be attending Staple: The Independent Media Expo, as guests. I am hoping to have Sprockett! #1 available for that show, but there's a possibilty i will only have ashcans. Sprockett! #0 will be available to anyone who missed it the first round at Wizard World Texas. These conventions are always exciting to me, i cant wait to see everyone there!

November 15th: Komikazee.com: Sprockett! #0 Review

The folks over at Komikazee.com were kind enough to do a review of my first book released, Sprockett! #0. 3 out of 5 stars, not bad for my first attempt if i do say so myself :) Anyways, click here to read the full review and while your'e there, you might as well check out the rest of the site, it's pretty kool. Thanks a ton guys.

November 10th, 11th, and 12th: Wizard World Texas:

Well, the show was awsome. I had a great time meeting more fellow artists and this time actually being on the other side of the table. I'm a little late posting, mainly because im lazy still :) I'd like to thank all of you who came out and supported me. I don't quite have a way to sell my comic yet through my site, but i assure you it will be available in the near future. I'm still having communication issues with my printer, Comixpress. I can't complain about the quality, it's the service i have a problem with. Hopefully in the future i will have a way to sell my comics through my site directly. Also i will be posting some Wizard World Texas pictures soon.

July 25th: It's official!!:

At 12:00 A.M. on July 25th, i officially recieved a charge to my credit card from Wizerd World Texas! Our seats have been confirmed as guests at the upcoming convention on November 10th through 12th. That means that i am keeping this update short as for the fact that i have a ton of work to do still...and not much time to do it in. Stay tuned for more details!

July 8th: Alan Tudyk:

It was a pretty awsome day. The Scifi Expo in Plano held a free convention over the weekend with special guest Alan Tudyk. Anyone who knows him, knows him as Wash on one of my favorite shows: Firefly. It was great to meet him and i even got his autograph on my HD version of Serenity and on my disc 3 of Arrested Development season 2. Well...that's my cool story for the month. Again, more updates to come soon. Oh yah, here are a few of pics of Alan I took at the con:

June 7th: Convention update:

Been a while since my last update, but i assure you...things are going great. The convention went over without a hitch (pics to uploaded soon). I made some great new contacts at the convention and some invites to future conventions. And speaking of future conventions, i have officially sent off my registration for Wizard World Texas! What does that mean you ask? That means that me and my cousin (previously mentioned) will be attending as guests... so long as there are no registration problems. It's rather exciting if i do say so myself :) Well...now im off to hurrily finish my book in time for Wizard World. More updates to come soon.

April 29th and 30th: Dallas Comic Con 7

Rather exciting news, at least to me. On April 29th and 30th, my cousin David and I will be attending the 7th annual Dallas Comic Con as guests. Each of us is working on a 15 page comic introducing our own characters, and although it may not be finished in time, we will be advertising for the upcoming release of it at the convention. You can read a little bit more about my comic in the Projects section of my site. As for my cousins title, as soon as i get a link to his site, i will post it.

Business Cards!

I recently recieved my business cards that i had ordered from WWW.JAKPRINTS.COM. I have never been more pleased with the perfomance of a company. The quality of the cards is excellent, the communication skills are great and the turn around was lightning fast. They come highly recommended by myself, being a poor man an all, the price was great. Here's an image of my card, enjoy!
